Description
This joyful and serene impressionist landscape painting was inspired by poppy flowers growing in the middle of fields of colza.
Gentle and uplifting, this piece captures the quiet beauty of nature in bloom — a moment of calm, color, and effortless joy.
I painted on Arches oil paper using oil and cold wax. The technique of oil and cold wax is very interesting, and allows to paint in layers, adding and removing them in order to reveal the under layers.
This mixed media impressionist painting measures approximately 10.75” x 8.25”. It is beautifully mounted in a white 14” x 11” mat and ready to be framed.
Its compact size makes it an excellent choice for small spaces or a thoughtful gift.
I signed the artwork on both the front and back and it comes protected in a clear sleeve, ensuring its longevity and quality.
