Unleash Your Creativity: contemporary Impressionist Painting Workshop
This contemporary impressionist painting workshop is really about expressing yourself, having fun, letting go and being spontaneous.
In this 1-day workshop, you will create your own stunning and one-of-a-kind abstract landscape painting, showcasing trees reflected in the water alongside delicate water lilies using acrylic paints.
You will explore and play with different techniques such as layering, scratching, drippings and more using different tools, such as brushes, palette knife, sponges, paper towels …. and marking tools, to create different textures. I will teach you to paint loose with confidence, to follow your intuitions instead of copying a photo.
I will do a step by step full live demonstration of one painting and you will work on your own unique creation on a stretched canvas size 16″ x 20″.
Each participant will go back own with their own and unique work of art.
Level: This workshop is appropriate to all levels from beginners to advanced painters, who are eager to explore and let go! No drawing skills required to participate.
Duration: 5 to 5 1/2 hours
Limited to 5 participants. Seats are reserved once the payment has been received.
Supplies: All supplies are included. However if you have some favorite tools, you are welcome to bring them.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes that can handle stains and shoes.
What to bring for the workshop:
- Protective clothing, apron, gloves
- Blow dryer
- Extension cord
- Drink and snack
All purchases are final. Classes are not refundable.
Because of the limited space transfers are available up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled workshop date and there will be a transfer fee of $35. If you need to transfer to another workshop, please contact me at francoise@lama-solet.com.For any cancellation received withing 72 hours of the workshop, there will be no transfer available and the class will be forfeit.
