Fields of Joy – 16″ x 20″

Description

This vibrant contemporary impressionist landscape painting of a sunlit poppy field exudes joy and celebrates the beauty of nature in full bloom.

I was inspired by the poppy flowers growing in the middle of colza fields, landscape views that I would often see in France.

I hand painted it with oil and cold wax on a cradle wood panel size 16″ x 20″. Oil and cold wax allows you to play with layers, revealing the under layers using different techniques.

The edges are painted in solid black. I signed the artwork in the front and back.

The painting is ready to hang and has a wire in the back for proper hanging. It comes unframed.
