This hand painted blue batik silk scarf is a true piece of wearable art!

I hand painted it with an abstract pattern using the batik technique that involves the use of wax in the process. The wax allows to retain the colors underneath each layer.

This silk scarf has different shades of navy blue, light blue and turquoise. It has some metallic silver accents.

It is very elegant and the colors came out very vibrant.

The dyes have been steam-set; therefore, the scarf is colorfast and has been washed several times.
