Description
This original mixed media floral painting is a tribute to my grandmother. She had beautiful pink peonies in her garden and every year I would go there and pick up of her peonies to make a bouquet for our home.
This contemporary impressionist artwork is hand painted with oil and cold wax on a birch cradled wood panel size 12″ x 18″. Oil and cold wax medium allows you to work in layers, adding and removing, allowing you to reveal some under layers and to create lots textures.
